Professor Katy Clark has been conducting research in both the delivery of palliative care and the optimal approach to managing physical symptoms bothersome for palliative care patients in the department since 2010. Let's talk About Dying. Ian has over 25 years’ experience in the funeral industry and knows first hand that a family-owned business is better placed to care for other families. Throughout his years in the industry, he has conducted several thousand funerals and is acutely aware of the cultural requirements of Newcastle’s immigrants. Dr. Miranda Cook practiced as a GP for 12 years in the United Kingdom and 2 years in New Zealand and was the lead GP in diabetes and mental health and she helped to train new doctors and medical students. She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in diabetes, mental health, substance abuse and disabilities.
